Research Advisory Discussion Request

RAD logo

Need research help?  Getting stuck finding reliable sources for an assignment?  Schedule a research advisory discussion (RAD) with one of our helpful librarians.

What should I expect in a RAD session?

Uninterrupted time with a librarian to receive personalized research assistance.  The librarian will help you create a search strategy to find information on your research topic and identify helpful resources.  You will have the opportunity to actively participate in the research process.  RAD sessions usually last from 15 minutes to an hour.

 What should I bring?

Bring a copy of your assignment and any research you’ve already done.

 When are appointments available?

Appointments are available Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30.  Evening and weekend appointments may also be possible based on staff availability.  Please allow the librarians at least 48 hours (excluding weekends) to prepare for your appointment.

Complete the form below to request a RAD session.  A librarian will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your appointment.
