American History in Video

Directions:

  1. Select a video in the American History in Video database.

  2. Within the video record, select Embed/Link.  See image below.
    Your computer must allow popups


    .Under the video title, look for

  3. Copy the Permalink to create a link to the video page.
    Popup will provide a URL to the video.  Add the library prefix before the URL for the video.  Your video link should now be permanent and ready for use.
  4. Copy the NEW library prefix: https://libdb.chattanoogastate.edu:3443/login?url=

           and paste it IN FRONT of the video's URL.

  5. The completed link will appear as:  
                     https://libdb.chattanoogastate.edu:3443/login?url=http://ahiv.alexanderstreet.com/View/471217

*This new library prefix will bypass the need to type passwords when it is used within eLearn!
