Create a direct link

1. Locate and copy the persistent link for your selected database item.
   
              Open "Select a Database" tab for help locating the link.
   
   

   Sample persistent link from Films on Demand database:
   
   
   

2. If needed, add the library prefix as the first part of your hyperlink:
   
         https://libdb.chattanoogastate.edu:3443/login?url=    
   
   

   

       Whew!  Almost finished!

3. To use the link within eLearn, you may have to create a Tiny.cc.

   Go to Tiny.cc.  Paste your long database link into the box and "tiny!" it.

      E.g.  http://tiny.cc/jobskills

4. Use this Tiny.cc (short URL) within eLearn.
