- Write a 600 word (roughly 2.5 pages) argumentative/persuasive essay
- Topics:
- Is there a unique American culture? Why or why not? Explain in detail.
- Why is obesity a relevant issue in our society? What steps should be taken to address the issue and why?
- Use at least 1 quote from your reading, properly cited, and a separate works cited page.
- Essay draft due Friday, Sept. 21 for section 34,
- Due Tuesday, Sept. 25 for sections 18, 30
- Final version of the essay submitted by e-Learn due Monday, Sept. 24 for section 34;
- Due Thursday, Sept. 27 for sections 18, 30
Sample Thesis:
Obesity is relevant to our society because of the health risks connected with it and the high cost of supporting these health risks.
