Assignment for Essay 3:
Students will read selections from the "American Culture" unit in the printed text Writing on the River and/or from the ENGL 1010 Online Textbook Supplement and complete a research paper with these requirements:
1) a 750-1000 word argumentative/persuasive essay
2) a minimum of two (2) references from texts used in the unit
3) a minimum of two (2) references from outside sources
4) a corresponding Works Cited page
