Write a 1200 – 1500 word persuasive essay to include a minimum of one (1) reference from the text used in the “Global Community” unit, three to five (3-5) references from outside sources and a corresponding Works Cited page. 

For a paper that will require them to make a prediction and create a supported call to action for one 3rd world country, students will decide:

1) what obligation 1st world countries have, if any;

2) what role (within the 3rd world country) governemtn, ngo's, and the business community have in developing a society; and

3) the most important issue facing a developing society (healthcare, public safety, education, etc.).

Primary sources will be incorporated into the research whenever possible.
